The Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership would like to invite you to a workshop on Thursday, 29 June, 2017 on developing international low carbon projects.

The workshop will seek to cover a range of themes funded by the €241 m Interreg 2 Seas Programme (2014-20). The 2 Seas Programme is one of several Interreg Programmes across the UK and it offers 60% funding for cross-border projects on topics such as low carbon, technological innovation, resource efficiency and circular economy. The programme is seeking applicants who can lead multi-million € projects with European partners and deliver tangible outputs with lasting results.

Workshop Topics

  • steps to develop a successful project, hints and tips on making a strong application

  • 2 Seas Programme representatives will also provide advice and support on how to find project partners from other member states.

Interreg 2 seas- Open call Aug 2017

The next call for proposals for the programme opens in August 2017 and this will be one of the last opportunities to submit your project idea prior to the UK’s exit from the European Union.
