Welcome to the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP)

Swindon and Wiltshire has a high growth economy. It ranks among the top five most attractive regions in England to locate a business and is home to the 5,000 year old world heritage site of Stonehenge and Avebury. True to its unique offering, as a valuable business and tourist location, every year Swindon and Wiltshire welcomes many new businesses and visitors into its fold.

The Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership(SWLEP) looks to build on the vibrant economic profile of the region by making strategic investments that trigger further growth in the local economy. In 2014, through two local growth deals we secured £140m of government funding to deliver public sector and commercial infrastructure projects which will underpin our future success.

Together with our partners, Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire Council, the SWLEP strives to make Swindon and Wiltshire a great place to live, work and visit in the country.
